WALK IN INTERVIEW FOR ENGAGEMENT OF ISL INTERPRETER, ISL INSTRUCTORS (DEAF) AND ENGLISH TEACHER ON CONTRACT BASIS

(1.) – Indian Sign Language Research and Training Centre (ISLTRC), New Delhi under the aegis of DEPwD, MSJ&E, Government of India, is conducting a Walk-in Interview on 12 August 2024 in order to Engage ISL Instructors (Deaf) on contract basis..

The details of the engagement for ISL Instructors (Deaf) are as follows :

Salary	a) – 12th +Certificate in C Level/DTISL = Rs 35,000/- consolidated salary per month b) – Graduate + Certificate in C Level/DTISL = Rs 40,000/- Consolidated salary per month
Eligibility	Essential – i. Passed class 10+2 (senior Secondary) or equivalent ii. Qualified ISL ‘C’ level or Diploma in Teaching Indian Sign Language course recognized by RCI Desirable – i. RCI registration ii. Experience in teaching ISL
Work Responsibilities	ISL instructor (Deaf) will be expected to carry out any responsibility or work given by ISLRTC.

(2) – Indian Sign Language Research and Training Centre (ISLTRC), New Delhi under the aegis of DEPwD, MSJ&E, Government of India, is conducting a Walk-in Interview on 13 August 2024 in order to Engage ISL Interpreter on contract basis.

The details of the engagement for ISL Interpreter are as follows :

Eligibility	Essential i. Minimum 12 Qualification ii. Proficiency in Indian Sign Language (ISL) iii. Qualified ISL ‘C’ level or Diploma in Indian Sign Language interpretation course recognized by RCI iV. knowledge of working in MS word and MS Power Point Desirable i. RCI registration ii. ISL interpreting experience in varies settings. Experience i. Experience of working as an ISL interpreter ii. should have interpreted in National and International conferences. (with certificate of references)
Work Responsibilies	i. ISL interpreter will be expected to carry out any responsibility or work given by ISLRTC. ii. During the contract, if required, the constractual staff will have to proceed to any part of india and will perform such duties as may be assigned to him/her in connection with the work of ISLRTC

Candidates reporting after 11:00 AM on the day of interview would not be considered for interview.

The candidates should carry the following documents :

Selection Procedure –

skill test will be conducted to determine proficiency levels of the candidates, followed by an interview.

(3) – Indian Sign Language Research and Training Centre (ISLTRC), New Delhi under the aegis of DEPwD, MSJ&E, Government of India, is conducting a Walk-in Interview (including skill test) on 8 august 2024 in order to engage English Teacher on contract basis.

The details of the engagement for English Teacher on Contract basis are as follows :

Eligibility	Essential A. – Academic Qualification i. – Bachelors degree in any discipline from recognized university/institution B. – Experience ii. – Minimum 02 years experience in teaching English from any government/private institute/organization C. – Skills iii. – Excellent ISL skills iv. – Excellent English Communicative, reading and writing skills v. – working knowledge of lesson planning and material development for teaching English Desirable i. – Preference will be given to Deaf candidates ii. – D.Ed/B.Ed or D.Ed/B.Ed Special Education from recognized university/institution iii. – Bachelors degree in English iv. – Experience in teaching English specifically to deaf students v. – RCI registration
Work Responsibilies	1. – To conduct online classes to teach English to deaf youth 2. – To design the syllabus 3. – To develop the lesson plan and teaching learning material for teaching English to the deaf students 4. – To design and conduct the assessments 5. – To take regular and remedial classes for deaf students 6. – To maintain all the academic records for teaching, test and progress of deaf students. 7. – Any other work assigned by higher authority

Candidates reporting after 10:00 AM on the day of interview would not be considered for interview.

The candidates should carry the following documents :

Selection Procedure –

candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be shortlisted. An English skill test will be conducted to determine proficiency levels of the candidates, followed by an interview. The candidates will also be required to do a demonstration of teaching English to deaf students.
